Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as yogic sleep. It is an ancient technique where the practitioner enters the deep states of conscious relaxation. Yoga nidra can be as restorative as sleep, while you remain fully conscious.
It is practiced lying down in a guided session. The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium – we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
